Orise Jacques-Durocher Is a visual artist who lives and works in Montréal. In her experimental ceramics practice, she expresses the desire to reimagine how we comprehend objects by addressing her critical and romantic reflections through the formulation of evocative material fictions. Her work has been presented in group and solo exhibitions in Québec and New Brunswick, and in Denmark during a residency at the Guldagergaard – International Ceramic Research Center, as well as in events such as Foire Plural and the auction for the Fondation du Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (Printemps du MAC).
