Biography

Lucie Camous’s curatorial practice develops at the intersection of intimate narratives, collective experimentation, and political issues. They co-founded Modèle vivant·e, a transfeminist collective for dissident drawing and representation, then Ostensible, a research-creation structure dedicated to crip studies. They also develop a practice of writing and performance. Their curatorial work has notably led to the creation of Variations, a podcast bringing together the voices of queer, crip, D/deaf, and disabled artists, researchers, and activists exploring the links between art practices and political commitments. Camous has curated several exhibitions, notably at CRAC Occitanie and the Palais de Tokyo, and contributes to publications, including RACAR’s issue titled Cripping Visual Cultures.
