Jennifer Belair

Jennifer Belair is a mixed-media visual artist. She often uses print media in conjunction with direct hand-drawn imagery, painting, and bookmaking techniques. Currently her creative practice is focused on the examination of interior and exterior relationships – with the self and with others. She explores personal psychological spaces and stories told in abstracted narrative landscapes, often featuring images from nature and subculture. Raised and educated in the Midwest, she received her BFA from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, and her MFA from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
