Hannah Todt* is a multidisciplinary artist who is interested in the entanglements among performance, sound, and sculpture. By exploring the acoustic potential of objects and materials, she reinterprets them as musical instruments in performances or, vice versa, addresses physical aspects of resonating bodies in sculptures. This playful approach is based on a critical reflection on value attribution and artistic creation as a commodity; she gathers, fragments, and reinterprets the narratives on which realities are built in order to question their validity and mutability. As an important part of her practice, Todt collaborates with artist collectives such as conte potuto and maria mercedes and is associated with musical projects such as AUTOR, Franca Sol, and Gomme. She currently lives and works in Brussels (and Vienna).
