Didem Erbaş is an Istanbul-based visual artist and researcher who explores the intersections of landscape, memory, and sociopolitical transformation. In her work, she examines how geography, architecture, housing policies, and state-led interventions reshape human and non-human habitats, particularly in areas marked by conflict and ecological disruption. Working across installation, drawing, video, and site-specific research, she investigates material traces such as ruins, sediments, and micro-ecologies. Her recent projects, integrating ecological inquiry, engage with war technologies, drone imagery, and posthuman perspectives. She has exhibited internationally and participated in residencies including Cité Internationale des Arts, Delfina Foundation, and the School of Visual Arts.
