Biography

Aurélia Noudelmann is an artist based in Amsterdam. Her work revolves around the methods and politics of archiving, especially within overlooked narratives. How memory circulates among the mind, physical spaces, and objects is at the core of her research. For her installations, she focuses on interrelations in which fictions navigate from one medium to another, blending crafts (metal, weaving, wood) and digital practices (3D animation, sound, programming), to meet between documentary and imaginary, giving oblivion a central position. In this research, the notions of community and collective are crucial. Her practice is thus nourished by numerous collaborations, notably through the duo Le Bateau.
