"YOUNG AMERICANS: Metal" continued series of national competitions organized by the American Craft Council for craftsmen under the age of 30. Juried by Alma Eikerman, Mary Lee Hu and Albert Paley, works by 135 metal artists were accepted. Award winners included Susan H. Hamlet, Randy Jones, Carol Kumata, GregroyLitsios, Wendy MacGaw, Rod McCormick and Bruce Metcalf. An illustrated catalog documents the exhibition and includes a listing of all the exhibitors and work selected.
