Les couloirs jaune, où l’écho précède la voix

The publication Les couloirs jaunes, où l’écho précédent la voix is an extension of two exhibitions proposed by Stéphane Gilot: Ce que racontent les couloirs jaunes (What the Yellow Corridors Tell Us) (2017) and Où l’écho précédent la voix (Where the Echo Precedes the Voice) (2024). The idea is based on the dialogue that the two devices maintain within the tactile and visual space of the book. The two projects are intimately linked by the themes addressed as well as by the artists invited to collaborate. The publication brings together a variety of documentation concerning the two installation and performance works: exhibition views, performance photographs, project presentation texts and literary excerpts. The whole allows us to identify the themes addressed, the approaches proposed in each case, thus extending the reflection on the specificities and the evolution of plastic and spatial research as a whole. - reseauartactuel.org
