Catherine Bolduc : My air castles and Other Fabulations

Catherine Bolduc. Mes châteaux d'air et autres fabulations 1996-2012 is a kaleidoscopic overview of artist Catherine Bolduc's work. The original intention was to present what was impossible to show in an exhibition: monumental in situ installations that have often disappeared. Along the way, this publication became not just a monograph, but a new space to invest. The publication is the result of long hours of work and close collaboration between artist Catherine Bolduc and publication curator Geneviève Goyer-Ouimette. Catherine Bolduc. Mes châteaux d'air et autres fabulations 1996-2012 was developed with a view to breaking the flat framework of the book in order to exploit its three-dimensionality, materiality, form and use. Thus, in its generous section of images, the viewer-reader is invited to wander through the book and relive a simulation of the actual experience of the works.
