“All 28 artists took part in the Pépinière européennes pour jeunes artistes program. They received a grant to travel and work in different locations in Europe, from the North (Béthune, Chalon and Naples). Others, using photography as a medium for their visual work, went to Melun, Budapest or Marseille. The ideas and works on display reflect both the diversity of culture and spirit of the different Pépinières and the individual nature of each artist.”
