Sculpture in Town Planning was a movement inaugurated on Culture Day in November 1975. The project is centered around a sculpture symposium, which has now been held for the fourth time and is becoming quite a regular summer  celebration, with recognized sculptors creating their works in public in the Fujimori Park.
