The Québec Triennial 2008
Publication accompanying the most ambitious exhibition of contemporary Québec art ever presented. A veritable research laboratory, the Triennale is the result of fieldwork and reflection by the Musée's curators, who have multiplied their visits to exhibitions and scoured artists' studios in search of the very best in contemporary Quebec art. With the participation of some thirty artists, all current media are explored: painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation. Lavishly illustrated, the publication offers an exceptional look at one of the most active and distinctive contemporary art scenes in North America. Contributors include David Altmejd, Nicolas Baier, Michel de Broin, Julie Doucet, Isabelle Hayeur and Jocelyn Robert.
Available in paper format only.
