Bill Vazan’s practice is usually associated with Land Art and multipart photographs, yet as early as the end of the 1960s, he begun developing a singular conceptual language and creating a series of emblematic works. This first monograph devoted to his Conceptual work attempts to pay tribute to an inventive, rigorous, and profound body of work that has not garnered special attention until now. It includes an interview with Patrice Loubier and essays by Marie-Josée Jean and Johanne Sloan, as well as a bio-bibliography compiled by Claudine Roger.

This publication is pursuant to an exhibition presented at VOX in 2007 in collaboration with art history students from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Print in 800 copies, including a Special Edition of 60 copies, numbered and signed by the artist, and with on original photowork.
