Garden Rooms : International Garden Festival

This richly illustrated catalogue documents temporary gardens designed by interdisciplinary artists and landscape architects from Québec, Canada and elsewhere (including three designers from France, the ‘guest-country’ of the 2002 edition.) Following a brief philosophical and historical introduction on the role of gardens, the authors introduce nine projects and stress how they each examine the garden both as subject and object.
