''t.ether is a multimedia exhibition focusing on digital communion. Bringing together 1990s technotribalism and contemporary ecofeminism, this exhibition examines how we can connect with the digital. It draws on a curiosity about the ways in which the Net has been conceived as a transcendent space, while remaining skeptical about its liberatory potential.

Composed of a video, installations and interactive works, the exhibition oscillates between a playful, utopian and even disturbing vision of cyberspace and the relationship between man and the digital world. Anthropomorphizing the computer network, digital death, reflecting on the commodification of contemporary experience and consideration for non-human agents, the artist duo aenl (Anna Eyler and Nicolas Lapointe) are interested in fragmented aspects of digital space and its possibilities.

With humor and empathy, t.ether explores the human quest for a higher power, questioning how technology has been - and continues to be - implicated in this pursuit.'' -Editor's website
