Being misplaced

This exhibition is accompanied by a publication in which author Viviane Paradis offers an essay on the artist's work. Being Misplaced presents a body of photographic work, animated by a soundscape and a circulation of images projected onto the photographs. The diffusion space becomes an installation, and the work inhabits our imaginations through the environment it creates. Catarina Ryöppy's nuanced photographs are enveloped in an atmosphere conducive to listening to the story they tell.
