Heat filmmaking workshop

Our artist-in-residence, Ruby Reding, invites you to a collaborative filmmaking workshop using thermal cameras. Together, we’ll explore the ecosystems of the St. Lawrence River through the temperature variations of intertidal life forms: algae, rocks, fish… and ourselves! 

This workshop approaches video recording as a collective experience, focusing on the interactions between our bodies and the landscape. The first part of the activity will take place along the riverbank, where we’ll shoot footage with thermal cameras. We’ll then meet at Est-Nord-Est for a group video editing session.
