Throwback to our S26 open studios

A look back at our wonderful open studio last Thursday, where we had the pleasure of visiting the studios of our summer residents!

  • Xavier Orssaud presented his new experiments exploring the dialogue between enamel and wood;
  • Sun Forest shared her research on the influence of the U.S. military presence in Korea;
  • Ruby Reding introduced us to her sculptures and videos, which explore the tensions inherent in aluminum—between extraction and renewable energy.
  • Diyar Mayil presented her material explorations, informed by her reflections on measurement and temporality;
  • Katie Lawson spoke to us about her approach to the book as a space for curatorial experimentation.

We then wrapped up the evening together with some delicious corn from Légume St-Pierre! 🌽

Thank you for joining us to celebrate the end of this residency!
